BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The State Auditor’s Office found several issues with the Municipal Police Training Committee where the Committee was inconsistent with the 2018 Criminal Justice Reform Act and the 2020 Police Reform Law. The audit found that training academies did not all deliver a standardized recruit office course, some were not taught by certified instructors, and police officer training records were mismanaged. The Auditors Office will track progress over the next six months.
