TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — PowerSchool, the program used to track students’ academic progress and communicate with families has been hacked. The program shared that the cybersecurity event involved unauthorized access to student and teacher information.

Franklin County Technical School utilizes PowerSchool and sent a message to families saying they do not keep sensitive information like Social Security Numbers or IEPs on PowerSchool, but did ask families to remain vigilant and monitor student accounts for any suspicious activity.
