SOUTH DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A watershed analysis is being conducted for Bloody and Blacksmith Brooks in South Deerfield to understand the causes of flooding in those areas and how to mitigate the floods.
On Wednesday, January 19th at 6 p.m. in the Deerfield Town Offices, Rosalie Starvish from the watershed analysis project and Nic Miller of Field Geology Services will present findings of the analysis as well as information on federal cost charing programs for flood prevention.
