GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Lunt Neighborhood Action Group was one of five recipients of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Technical Assistance Grant Program. The group was awarded up to $20,000 to use technical expertise to evaluate and interpret data from the former Lunt Silversmith disposal site in Greenfield where residents are concerned about chlorinated volatile organic compounds found in the soil, groundwater, and indoor air.
