GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield public schools will be offering in-person core content instruction during upcoming school vacation weeks as part of an Acceleration Academy program the district recently received a grant award for from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The program is designed to provide intensive, standards-aligned instruction to accelerate student learning in a targeted content area, at no cost to families. Over February and April break students have the opportunity to receive small group direct instruction for a minimum of twenty hours, building on lessons from the regular classroom studies.

A survey is available now for families to show interest in enrolling their students in the Academies.
