BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Democratic Attorneys General, including Massachusetts’ Andrea Joy Campbell and seventeen others, are suing the Trump administration over President Trump’s Executive Order ending the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.
Attorney General Campbell says birthright citizenship has been recognized by the Supreme Court for “more than a century” and claims the Executive Order is in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and Section 1401 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.”
