GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  A Franklin County Superior Court jury has found 33 year-old Javery Hattat guilty of seven charges in relation to the Route 2 crash with a Rhode Island family in March of 2023. Although prosecutors could not prove Hattat was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash, Hattat claimed he had taken cocaine the night prior and smoked marijuana before getting in the vehicle and the jury ultimately found him guilty. Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, January 30th.
