Arlington, VA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — An American Airlines airplane and a military helicopter were involved in a mid-air collision Wednesday night, resulting in both air crafts in the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport. There were an estimated 60 people on board the American Airlines jet along with four crew members and three military personnel on the helicopter, and so far fourteen have been found as of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
