SHELBURNE FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  A battery energy storage system is in the works for Shelburne Falls with Great River Hydro on Conway Street. Buckland Zoning Board of Appeals heard from the hydropower company in a pre-application hearing where plans for six batteries would go in to hold seven megawatt hours of energy.
