BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Healey-Driscoll Administration has announced a new professional development pilot for educators to provide them with the tools to bring artificial intelligence, AI, into the classroom.
The program introduces educators to the fundamentals of AI, explores ethical and responsible classroom applications, and facilitates ongoing collaboration with industry experts and peers throughout the academic year.
With a $135,000 investment from the STEM Advisory Council and the Massachusetts AI Hub, the professional development pilot has kicked off with educators from 45 classrooms engaging in a year-long 50-hour program.
