HAWLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Hawley’s Selectboard and the Board of Health wrote a letter to the community expressing concern over the number of new structures and additions built without permits, some of which are being used as dwellings. The town is encouraging residents to obtain their proper permits, or they will be engaging in enforcement measures, which may include costly fines.
