GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A Massachusetts 250 Grant has been awarded to the City of Greenfield which will fund the creation of ten sidewalk murals by local artists to highlight the history of the American Revolution and highlight Greenfield’s history as a revolutionary and innovative city.

The project will culminate in a free, public event in July of 2026.

The City’s grant writer and manager, Athena Lee Bradley, will present more information on the grant at tonight’s Historical Commission meeting.
