Hawley secures two grants for fire department, Route 8A design

HAWLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Hawley town officials, in collaboration with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and the community, have secured two grants.

One will fund preliminary design work on the Route 8A Dugway, the narrow, weather damaged section of roadway. The second, will fund the purchase of new airlocks for both the Hawley and the Cummington fire departments.
