BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Bernardston Police Department has been awarded the Municipal Road Safety grant and plans to use the funds for safety equipment and added traffic enforcement patrols.
The department says the added patrols will occur over the next year in a six-deployment series with a focus on impaired driving, speed, distracted driving, and seat belt enforcement and an intention to ensure roads are safe for all.
