GARDNER, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — CodeRED, Gardner’s emergency communication system used to alert residents of water main breaks, road closures, weather alerts and more, has experienced a damaging cybersecurity incident this week.
The CodeRED platform has since been decommissioned and a new CodeRED system is being put into place that will require all residents to re-register.
The City of Gardner will release further updates on their website and their social media pages.
