ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — As Athol Police Chief Craig Lundgren prepares to retire next month, a new chief has been selected to take over.
Athol Police Sergeant Jarrett Mousseau has been with the department for 30 years and received unanimous approval from the interview panels.
Mousseau is expected to begin his new role on January 6th, 2026.
