MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The town of Montague has selected a new CodeRED system after the previous one fell due to a data breach.
The town has contracted Rave Mobile Safety, which will allow for a quick startup time – the program should be up and running for residents to sign up within the next month and features a simple onboarding process for residents.
The CodeRED system alerts residents of emergency situations and announcements from the town, such as winter weather that may impact parking.
