ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Orange Selectboard voted in favor of designating the downtown region from the western side of East Main Street through the neighborhood north of East Main, as a “slum and blight” district, unlocking funding opportunities to address deteriorating properties. The designation will not affect property values or impart judgment on the properties.
