Franklin County Technical School invites residents, town officials, and community and business leaders from all 19 of our member towns to attend our upcoming Community Forum about the proposed new Franklin County Technical School building project.

From the Franklin County Technical School:

The public session will be held on Tuesday, February 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenfield Community College, 1 College Drive, Greenfield, MA.

This is the second of three community forums being hosted by FCTS about the proposed new school. The third session will be on May 4 at GCC.

Please come to the forum to get the facts about the project, ask questions and share your thoughts.
The session will provide an overview of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) process, the educational and facility needs driving this project, and how the proposal supports the future of vocational and technical education across our 19-town district.

Representatives from the architectural design team and Owner’s Project Management firm will also be on hand to present details of the proposed design, answer questions, and discuss the timeline and next steps. In addition, the projected fiscal impact to the district towns will be communicated to ensure transparency and understanding of the financial considerations involved.

The public’s input and participation are essential as we work together to ensure Franklin County Technical School continues to meet the educational and workforce needs of our students and communities for decades to come.
