BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Millers River Basin has improved its drought status to a Level 2 Significant Drought, according to the state’s drought management task force. All other regions have stayed the same, apart from the southeast region which is now in a Level 2 Significant Drought as well. In spite of the snow received in January, the precipitation deficits from 2024 remain.
