BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — An eighth child has died this flu season. In Massachusetts, the flu has claimed 306 lives in the current flu season. Nationwide, the total fatality count is approximately 3,972 according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
