BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is transitioning from the traditional E-Z Pass transponders to the more cost effective stickers, a move that is expected to have huge savings for the department of approximately $1.38 million per year.
All new customers and those replacing transponders will receive the stickers, however current transponder users are not required to make any changes.
