GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A Franklin County Superior Court jury has convicted Brandon Eugenio, of Indian Orchard, on multiple charges related to physical and sexual violence against a former partner over a four year period when the couple lived in Shutesbury. The jury returned after eight and a half hours of deliberation and delivered guilty verdicts on 20 counts including rape, assault and battery, strangulation, kidnapping, suffocation, stalking, and more.

Franklin County Jury Convicts Indian Orchard Man on Multiple Counts of Sexual and Domestic Violence
GREENFIELD — On March 17, 2026, a Franklin County Superior Court jury convicted Branden Eugenio, of Indian Orchard, on multiple charges stemming from a prolonged pattern of physical and sexual violence against his former intimate partner.
The crimes occurred over a four-year period from 2020 through 2024, including incidents that took place while the couple resided in Shutesbury. The trial lasted eight days, during which the Commonwealth presented testimony from 22 witnesses and introduced 65 exhibits into evidence.
After approximately eight and a half hours of deliberation, the jury returned guilty verdicts on 20 counts, including:
• 4 counts of Aggravated Rape
• 2 counts of Rape
• 2 counts of Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member
• 3 counts of Strangulation
• 2 counts of Witness Intimidation
• 2 counts of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order
• 1 count each of Kidnapping; Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon; Suffocation; Threat to Commit a Crime; and Stalking
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Jillian Parent and Sandra Staub, with assistance from paralegal Alyssa Stankowski and Victim Witness Advocate Kim Devine. The defendant was represented by Attorneys Daniel Kelly and Daniel Hagan, of Springfield. Superior Court Judge Jane Mulqueen presided over the trial.
Following the announcement of the jury’s verdicts, the defendant was taken into custody pending sentencing, which will be scheduled at a later date by the Court.
