ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Reports came in Tuesday morning of a possible drowning on Lake Mattawa. Orange Fire Rescue, Athol Fire, Northfield Dive Rescue, and the Massachusetts Environmental Police assisted in the search but found no unattended boats or people in the water. Officials are saying the report appears to be a ‘good intent call’ at this time.
