BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The 2026 Firefighter safety equipment grant awards will help many Franklin County fire departments update a variety of equipment.
In Orange, they’ll use $12,000 to purchase new battery powered ventilation fan and reflective coats for first responders. Ashfield Fire will purchase new structural firefighting personal protective clothing.
