FRANKLIN COUNTY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — 40% of Massachusetts households experienced food insecurity in 2025, according to the sixth annual statewide study on food insecurity from The Greater Boston Food Bank and Mass General Brigham. The number was even higher for Franklin and Hampshire counties where 48% of households were facing food insecurity in 2025.
