ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — First place in the 61st annual River Rat Race went to boat #68 with Mike David and Weston Willoughby of Michigan.
Last year’s winners Adam Gelinas and Patrick Madden took second place this year.
The race takes paddlers on the Millers River from Athol to Orange after a morning filled with pancakes and the Big Cheese 5K.
