ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Mahar Regional School District School Committee has been able to put forth a level-funded budget at $15.8 million for fiscal year 2027. The budget does include the elimination of one teaching and one non-teaching position. The budget will come before Orange, New Salem, Wendell and Petersham voters at their upcoming Town Meetings.
