GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — After Greenfield City Council voted to adopt the Massachusetts General Law Chapter 32B, Section 19 last week, city officials met with union representatives to negotiate the transition to state health insurance, GIC.
At Tuesday’s emergency City Council meeting, Mayor Desorgher said they were able to unanimously vote on the transition last Thursday, forming an agreement in the first meeting. They will reconvene to adjust some writing errors.
