GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The historic Wilson’s facade is being taken down today, in preparation for new development going into the building. The building was purchased by MassDevelopment in collaboration with Community Builders, Franklin Community Co-op, and the City of Greenfield to facilitate its redevelopment into 65 units of mixed-income housing with a full-service grocery store on the ground floor. In addition to the housing units, the project is anticipated to create approximately 100 jobs.
