(Greenfield, MA)  –It was a high school graduation ceremony like no other in Greenfield this weekend, as the Greenfield High School Class of 2020 gathered one last time to pick up their diplomas at a “socially distant” ceremony at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Among the speakers was GHS Principal Karin Patenaude, who gave an emotional speech which praised the resiliency of the class of 2020. Following the ceremony, which was attended by family members in parked cars, the graduates were joined by Greenfield Police and Firefighters in a makeshift parade up to and around Greenfield High School, where they were greeted by well-wishers.
