(undated) — The state’s Attorney General is pushing back against President Trump’s threat to use the U.S. Military to quell protests over the killing of George Floyd. Attorney General Maura Healey said the military has “no place” on Massachusetts streets, adding that Trump’s rhetoric only “serves to divide people and inflame tensions.” Trump has threatened to invoke an act that allows the use of American troops in situations where states can’t or won’t control looting and violence related to those protests.
