(Greenfield, MA) — Protestors are expected to take to the streets of Greenfield tomorrow. A “Black Lives Matter” event will be held on the Greenfield town common beginning at 12:30 Saturday in reaction to the killing of Minneapolis resident George Floyd while in police custody. Similar events have been scheduled in a all four western counties either today or tomorrow. A representative from the Mayor’s Office said that the protest is considered a first amendment right, and no permit is required at this time.
