(Amherst, MA) — Essential workers in Massachusetts are apparently pretty stressed out. That’s according to a new UMass-Amherst Labor Center and the Center for Employment Equity survey, which indicates that most “essential” state workers feel stressed and unsafe, and have been having a tough time maintaining social distancing in their workplaces. The survey also revealed that a number of employers have not provided proper PPE or hand sanitizing options for their employees.
