NORTHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, State and local police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred in Northfield on Thursday afternoon. A pickup truck traveling southeast on Gulf Road struck a tree, caught fire, and the sole occupant, believed to be Duane Schillemat, 65 years old of Munsonville, New Hampshire was pronounced dead at the scene.
