ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A mandatory outdoor water use restriction has been enacted in Athol after three consecutive days of stream flow dropping below 186 cubic feet per second in the Millers River. No non-essential water use is allowed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. including watering lawns, washing vehicles outside of commercial sites, or pool filling.
