ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Governor Healey signed the Town of Orange charter legislation into law, allowing for new local government structures to become effective as planned on July 1st. The Orange government reform effort got off the ground in April 2025. The central change is the creation of a town manager role to oversee day-to-day operations and serve as chief administrative officer.
