AMHERST, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — UMass Amherst hosted a conference on transatlantic slavery in the North during the American Revolution on Thursday. The international conference brought together researchers, professors and students to discuss overlooked histories and documentation on slavery in the North.
