(Boston, MA) Today the Baker administration announced a new resource, www.mass.gov/gettested, to aid residents in figuring out whether they should get tested for COVID-19 and where to find a testing location. A new public awareness campaign is also being launched. Applications from providers who are able to stand up new testing sites and provide mobile testing options. These sites should focus on vulnerable communities with limited access to testing. The first round of applications will begin June 22. Later today new data and recommendations will be released by the COVID Health Equity Advisory Group to address health inequities on vulnerable communities.
