BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Friday, Bernardston Police made an arrest after erratic driving and a short pursuit. The BMW was seen on Interstate 91, then located on Hartwell Street where the operator, a 38 year-old Connecticut woman, did not stop for police, instead heading towards Route 5. When she did eventually stop, an investigation found a significant amount of suspected narcotics.
The woman was charged with an OUI with drugs, a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of four different narcotics including fentanyl, Xanax, and crack cocaine, and methadone.
