BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Wednesday, Governor Healey signed the PROTECT Act, legislation that keeps ICE out of courthouses, schools, childcare centers, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. The bill also bans 287(g) agreements and allows for civil rights claims to made against government officials.
