ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The town of Athol has received a $40,000 state grant to update their cybersecurity for the town’s water system. Recently, there have been approximately a dozen communities across the country whose water systems have been targeted for cyberattacks, motivating municipalities to strengthen their security.
