SOUTH HADLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Monday’s fatal accident involving an electric scooter in South Hadley was not a “hit and run,” according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. by Williamsett and Hollywood streets where the scooter and a sedan collided in the breakdown lane. The 19 year-old male riding the scooter was pronounced dead at the hospital Tuesday.
