ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A 75 year-old pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Monday on a crosswalk by Market Basket in Athol. The female pedestrian was LifeFlighted to UMass Meorial Medical Center in Worcester. Later, on Tuesday, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
