BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Congressman Jim McGovern shared on Tuesday at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, that Bernardston secured $1 million in federal funding for the construction of their new fire station. The project has been completed and the new station is ready for use, equipped with safety features to help protect firefighters from exposure to dangerous materials and pollutants.
Congressman McGovern was in attendance for the ribon-cutting ceremony at the new station located at 167 Northfield Road.
