ASHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — An Ashfield resident reported a scam attempt wherein an email from planning.ashfield.org@usa.com requested a wire payment in the amount of $6,953 via a link. The town of Ashfield has let residents know the Planning Board, not Division as written in the email, would not request payments via wire transfer, nor do the town boards request fees for meeting.
