MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — MassDOT and the Town of Montague are working together on the North Leverett Road over the Sawmill River Bridge replacement project. The proposed replacement will impact approximately 5,557 square feet of the Sawmill River.
As part of the project, MassDOT and Montague are submitting a courtesy copy of a 401 Water Quality Certification. Although the project is exempt from the Wetlands Protection Act, the town’s Conservation Commission will be kept abreast of the status of the project.
