ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Mill Brook Crossing Plaza marked the completion of a 6 year project with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week attended by state and local officials. The former Lord Pond Plaza had been transformed from blacktop to a climate-resilient community destination with pollinator and wildlife habitats, over 80 new trees, and lower-impact stormwater infrastructure.
