EASTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Easthampton Mayor Salem Derby has declared a state of emergency as the city works into fourth week of making emergency repairs to the Ferry Street sinkhole in town, which will allow the city to access state funding. The Mayor anticipates the road reopening within the next two weeks.
