GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s Greenfield City Council meeting, a rental registry ordinance was voted in favor of after discussion over some amendments. This proposal had been in the works for years in an effort to ensure rental units are meeting health code and other maintenance concerns. Registration of rental units will be required and must be renewed annually for $30 per unit.
